Finding the right fit for shearling-lined mules is important for comfort. Check the product's size chart and compare it to your usual shoe size. If you plan to wear thick socks, consider sizing up for extra room. Many mules are designed to fit snugly at first, as the lining may compress slightly over time. If you're between sizes, reviews can offer helpful insights about whether a style runs large or small. Shopping at Walmart also means you can take advantage of easy returns if the fit isn't quite right.

Many shearling-lined mules are made for both indoor and outdoor use.

• Look for features like sturdy, non-slip soles and water-resistant uppers for outdoor wear.
• Some styles are best suited for quick trips outside, like grabbing the mail or walking the dog.
• Always check the product description to see if the mules are designed for outdoor use, as some are intended mainly for indoor comfort.

To keep your shearling-lined mules fresh, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.

• Avoid soaking the shoes, as too much moisture can damage the lining and materials.
• Let them air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
• For stubborn stains, a soft brush can help lift dirt from the surface.

Many shearling-lined mules come in wide sizes or have adjustable features like buckles or stretchy uppers.

• Look for styles labeled as "wide" or "roomy fit" for extra comfort.
• Adjustable straps can help customize the fit to your foot shape.
• Reading customer reviews can also provide insight into how a particular style fits wider feet.

To maintain the cozy feel of your shearling-lined mules,

• Gently shake out or brush the lining with a soft brush to fluff up the fibers.
• Let them air out regularly to prevent the lining from matting down.
• Avoid wearing them outdoors in wet conditions, as moisture can flatten the lining.
