Servers often use a specialized notepad called a server book or waitress book to keep track of orders, payments, and notes. These books usually feature pockets for cash and receipts, pen holders, and sections for guest checks. Having a dedicated organizer helps servers stay efficient and organized during busy shifts. You'll find a variety of server books and notepads at Walmart, including options with zipper pockets and durable covers for everyday use.

A server pad is specifically designed for restaurant staff, featuring sections for guest checks, tip tracking, and pockets for cash or coins. Regular notepads are more general-purpose and may not include these specialized features. If you’re looking for something to help manage orders and payments efficiently, a server pad is a practical choice. Walmart carries both types, so you can select what works best for your daily routine.

Magnetic notepads are handy for sticking to surfaces like fridges or metal cabinets, making them great for quick reminders or grocery lists. However, for restaurant orders, a server book or dedicated waitress notepad is usually more practical. These are designed to fit in aprons, have pockets for cash, and help keep order details organized. Magnetic notepads can be useful for kitchen staff or for jotting down daily specials, but servers typically prefer portable organizers.
