Choosing the right size for scuff slippers can make a big difference in comfort. Here are a few tips:

• Check the size chart: Each brand may fit a little differently, so look for a sizing guide on the product page.
• Consider socks: If you plan to wear thick socks, you might want to size up for a cozier fit.
• Read reviews: Customer feedback often mentions if slippers run large or small.
• Try them on at home: Walmart offers easy returns, so you can exchange if the fit isn’t quite right.

Many scuff slippers are designed for indoor use, but some styles feature durable soles that can handle quick trips outside. Here’s what to look for:

• Check the sole: A thicker, textured sole usually means better grip and durability outdoors.
• Weather matters: Avoid wearing them outside in wet or muddy conditions, as most scuffs aren’t waterproof.
• Read the product details: The description will often mention if they’re suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Keeping your scuff slippers fresh is easy with a few simple steps:

• Spot clean: Use a damp cloth and mild soap to gently wipe away dirt.
• Air dry: Let them dry naturally—avoid direct heat, which can damage materials like faux fur or memory foam.
• Check care instructions: Some slippers have removable insoles or are machine washable, so always read the label first.

Scuff slippers often have an open-back design, which can be more forgiving for wider feet. Here are a few things to consider:

• Look for wide options: Some styles come in wide sizes for extra comfort.
• Soft materials: Plush or stretchy fabrics can offer a bit more give.
• Try before you decide: If you’re shopping online, Walmart’s return policy makes it easy to exchange if the fit isn’t right for you.

To help prevent slipping while wearing scuff slippers, consider these tips:

• Choose non-slip soles: Look for slippers with textured or rubber outsoles for better grip on smooth floors.
• Keep floors clean: Dust and spills can make surfaces slippery, so regular cleaning helps.
• Check the fit: A snug fit can reduce the chance of your foot sliding inside the slipper.
