Flying remote control planes, jets and helicopters is a fun pastime for children and adults alike. When selecting a remote control jet, there are a few things you should consider.

• Battery Time: Flight times vary from aircraft to aircraft. They can range from a few minutes to 30 minutes or longer. However, if you ve fallen in love with a particular jet that doesn t offer the flight time you d like, consider buying a second rechargeable battery. This ensures you have plenty of airtime fun.
• Range: Range refers to the distance you can fly the plane before losing connection to the transmitter or controller. Ranges can vary from fewer than 100 feet to well over 1000 feet.
• Low Power Stutter: Low power stutter causes the engine to stutter one minute before the battery is drained. This serves as a warning signal to ensure you can safely land the plane while it's still charged.
