Yes, you can use a poster frame to display a completed puzzle, as long as the frame matches the puzzle’s dimensions. Many poster frames are designed to fit standard puzzle sizes, making them a convenient choice for showcasing your work. Before framing, consider securing the puzzle pieces together with puzzle glue or adhesive sheets to keep everything intact. Poster frames with acrylic or glass fronts can help protect your puzzle from dust and damage, so you can enjoy your finished piece as wall art for years to come.

A good puzzle frame should fit your puzzle’s size, offer sturdy backing, and include a clear front to protect your artwork.

• Size: Measure your completed puzzle to ensure a snug fit.
• Backing: Look for frames with solid backing to keep the puzzle flat and secure.
• Front Cover: UV-protective acrylic or glass can help prevent fading and shield your puzzle from dust.
• Mounting Options: Frames with both horizontal and vertical hanging hardware offer flexible display choices.

You don’t always need a special frame for puzzles, but using one designed for puzzles can make the process easier. Puzzle frames often come with deeper profiles to accommodate the thickness of glued puzzles and sturdy backing to keep everything in place. If you choose a standard poster or picture frame, just make sure it’s deep enough and has a secure closure. For best results, check the puzzle’s thickness and compare it to the frame’s specifications before purchasing.

To pick the right size frame for your puzzle, measure the finished puzzle’s length and width carefully.

1. Lay your puzzle flat and use a tape measure for accuracy.
2. Choose a frame with inner dimensions that match or are slightly larger than your puzzle.
3. If your puzzle isn’t a standard size, consider a custom frame or use a mat to fill extra space.

Displaying a framed puzzle is all about finding the right spot and hanging method.

• Choose a wall with even lighting to avoid glare on the frame’s front.
• Use the hanging hardware included with your frame for secure mounting.
• Consider grouping framed puzzles with other wall art for a gallery effect.
• Keep framed puzzles away from direct sunlight to help preserve the colors.
