PS5 plates are protective covers that snap onto the sides of your PlayStation 5 console. They help shield your device from scratches, dust, and minor bumps, while also letting you personalize its look.

• Most plates are made from durable ABS plastic.
• They come in a variety of colors and designs to match your style.
• Some plates include cooling vents or dust filters for added functionality.

Swapping plates is a simple way to refresh your console’s appearance without affecting performance or warranty.

PS5 plates are typically designed for specific console versions, like the Slim or Pro models.

• It’s important to check compatibility before purchasing, as the shape and size can differ.
• Some plates are labeled for Disc Edition or Digital Edition, so double-check your console type.
• Using the right plate ensures a secure fit and proper protection.

If you’re unsure, look for product details or ask a Walmart associate for guidance.

Installing a PS5 plate is usually straightforward and doesn’t require tools.

1. Power off and unplug your console.
2. Gently remove the existing plates by sliding or lifting them off.
3. Align the new plate with the console’s side and snap it into place.

Tip: Avoid forcing the plate, as this could damage the clips. Always handle your console on a flat, clean surface to prevent accidental scratches.

Some PS5 plates feature built-in cooling vents designed to help air circulate around your console.

• These vents may assist with heat dissipation during extended gaming sessions.
• While vented plates can support airflow, overall cooling depends on your gaming environment and console placement.
• Keep your PS5 in an open area and avoid blocking the vents for best results.

Vented plates are a popular choice for gamers looking to add both style and functionality.

To keep your PS5 plates looking their best, follow these steps:

1. Turn off and unplug your console.
2. Remove the plates carefully.
3. Wipe them with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
4. If needed, use a slightly damp cloth for stubborn spots, but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Let the plates dry completely before reattaching. Regular cleaning helps prevent dust buildup and keeps your console looking sharp.
