Most precision pro mice are designed to be compatible with a wide range of devices, including laptops, desktop PCs, and tablets. Before purchasing, check that your device supports Bluetooth or has a USB port for the wireless receiver. If you're using a tablet, make sure it supports external mouse input—some operating systems require specific settings. For the best experience, review your device's compatibility details and see if any drivers or software are needed for advanced features.

• Insert the included batteries into the mouse, if required.
• Plug the wireless receiver into your computer's USB port, or enable Bluetooth on your device if the mouse supports it.
• Turn on the mouse using the power switch, usually found underneath.
• Follow any on-screen prompts to complete pairing. Some devices may automatically detect the mouse, while others might need you to select it from a Bluetooth menu.

If you run into issues, consult the user manual or your device's support page for troubleshooting tips.

A precision mouse typically offers higher sensitivity and more accurate tracking than standard mice. This means smoother cursor movement, which can be especially helpful for tasks like graphic design or gaming. Many precision models also feature customizable buttons and adjustable DPI (dots per inch) settings, letting you fine-tune speed and responsiveness. These features can enhance productivity and comfort, especially if you spend a lot of time on your computer.

• Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or soaking the mouse.
• Clean the sensor area gently with a dry cotton swab to maintain accurate tracking.
• Periodically check for debris around the scroll wheel and buttons, removing any buildup carefully.

Regular cleaning can help extend your mouse's lifespan and keep it performing smoothly.

Many precision pro mice offer customizable buttons that let you assign different functions or shortcuts. This is usually done through software provided by the manufacturer, which you can download from their website. Customization options may include adjusting button assignments, sensitivity levels, or even creating profiles for different tasks. Check your mouse's manual or support page for instructions on setting up and using these features.
