Poly spots are flat, non-slip floor markers that help organize movement and spacing during practice or class. Because they sit flush to the ground, they’re easy to step on and less obtrusive than cones.

• Great for setting stations, starting points, or targets in sports drills.
• Common in soccer, basketball, PE, and dance practice.
• Color-coding makes it simple to cue different skills or levels.
• Available in multiple diameters and even directional shapes to cue movement.

On Walmart.com, you can filter by size, shape, color, and pack count to build layouts that fit your space and group size.

A “poly dot” is a round, flat floor marker—essentially the same idea as a poly spot. It’s designed to mark positions without sticking up like a cone.

• Helps with quick-feet drills, jump targets, and station markers.
• Often used to set start/finish points or safe “home” spots in games.
• Low-profile design aims to stay put and minimize tripping.
• Sets may include assorted colors or even arrows/shapes for direction changes.

Diameters vary from small (around 4–5 in) to larger (9–12 in) for visibility. Check each product page for exact sizes, quantities, and any surface notes so you choose the right set for your plan.

Poly spots are typically made from durable materials that balance flexibility with grip.

• Rubber: Used in some floor dots; textured surfaces are designed to help reduce sliding.
• Polyethylene (PE): A sturdy plastic found in many markers, including larger discs and shaped pieces.

Material, thickness, and surface texture can vary by set and may influence how well a marker stays put on different floors. Product pages list the material, diameter, and pack details. Reviewing those specs can help you match a set to your surface (like hardwood, turf, or concrete) and the type of drills you’re running.

Gentle, regular cleaning can help maintain appearance and traction, but results may vary based on use and surface.

1. Shake off dust and grit.
2. Wipe with warm water and mild dish soap using a soft cloth or sponge.
3. Rinse with clean water to remove residue.
4. Air-dry flat before stacking or storing.

• Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive scrubbers that could scuff the surface.
• For outdoor use, a quick rinse after sessions can help remove dirt.
• Check the packaging for any material-specific care guidance.

Storing markers flat in a cool, dry place—ideally in a bag or bin—can help minimize warping over time.

The best size depends on your space, drill style, and how visible you need targets to be.

• 4–5 in: Handy for quick footwork, agility patterns, and younger athletes where closer spacing is common.
• 7–9 in: Versatile for most team practices, PE stations, and general skills training.
• 12 in: Extra-visible targets for larger spaces or when you want clear landing/stance cues.

Brighter colors can improve visibility, and directional shapes (like arrows) can guide movement. Consider your flooring—grip can vary on hardwood, turf, or concrete. On Walmart.com, use size and quantity filters to match your group size and layout.
