Choosing the right size plastic wrap depends on your kitchen needs.

• If you're wrapping small items or covering bowls, a standard roll is usually enough.
• For larger dishes or frequent use, consider a bigger roll or wider wrap for better coverage.
• Check the square footage listed on the packaging to estimate how long the roll will last.

Think about how often you use plastic wrap and the types of containers you cover. Walmart offers a variety of sizes, so you can find one that fits your routine without wasting material.

Many plastic wraps are designed to be microwave safe, but it's important to check the packaging for specific instructions.

• Look for wraps labeled as microwave safe and follow any guidelines provided.
• Make sure the wrap doesn’t touch the food directly and leave a corner open for steam to escape.
• Never use plastic wrap at high temperatures or for extended periods.

Always follow the manufacturer's directions to help avoid melting or safety issues. If you're unsure, consider using a microwave-safe lid or container instead.

To keep your plastic wrap in good condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• A kitchen drawer or cabinet works well to protect it from heat and moisture.
• Keep the box closed to prevent dust and debris from getting inside.
• If your wrap comes with a slide cutter, make sure it's secured to avoid accidental cuts.

Proper storage helps maintain the wrap’s cling and makes it easier to use when you need it.

Many plastic wrap rolls come with a slide cutter for easy dispensing.

1. Pull out the desired length of wrap.
2. Hold the wrap taut and gently slide the cutter across the roll.
3. Be careful not to press too hard to avoid tearing.

The slide cutter helps create a clean edge and reduces waste. Always follow the instructions included with your product for safe use.

Plastic wrap can be used to cover food before freezing, but make sure it's labeled as freezer safe.

• Wrap food tightly to help prevent freezer burn.
• Double-wrap items or use freezer bags for extra protection.
• Check the packaging for any specific storage guidelines.

Using plastic wrap properly can help keep your food fresh, but results may vary based on the type of food and how it's wrapped.
