Paper stuffing is a simple way to add flair and protection to your gift bags. To use it, just follow these steps:

1. Place your gift inside the bag.
2. Take sheets of tissue paper or crinkle paper and loosely bunch or fluff them.
3. Arrange the paper around and on top of the gift, making sure it covers the contents and fills any empty spaces.
4. Adjust the paper so it peeks out attractively from the bag's opening.

This not only makes your gift look festive but also helps cushion and conceal what's inside.

The paper used to fill gift bags is commonly known as tissue paper or crinkle paper filler. Tissue paper comes in a variety of colors and patterns, while crinkle paper is shredded for extra volume and texture. Both types help protect gifts and add a decorative touch. You’ll find these options in the gift wrap section at Walmart, making it easy to match your stuffing to any occasion.

Absolutely! If you’re looking for alternatives to crinkle paper filler, consider these options:

• Tissue paper—classic and versatile for wrapping or stuffing.
• Shredded tissue paper—offers a softer look and feel.
• Foil tinsel shreds—adds sparkle for festive occasions.
• Fabric scraps—can be reused and add a unique touch.

Each option brings its own style and cushioning, so you can personalize your gift presentation however you like.

Choosing the right color for paper stuffing depends on the occasion and your gift’s theme. Here are some tips:

• Match the paper to the bag or wrapping for a coordinated look.
• Use bright colors for birthdays or celebrations.
• Choose pastels for baby showers or spring events.
• Opt for metallics or neutrals for elegant or formal gifts.

Mixing colors can also create a fun, layered effect. Walmart offers a wide range of shades to help you find the perfect match.

To keep your leftover tissue paper in good shape, try these tips:

• Fold sheets neatly and store them flat in a drawer or box.
• Keep shredded or crinkle paper in a resealable bag or container to prevent tangling.
• Store away from moisture and direct sunlight to avoid fading or wrinkling.

Organizing your paper stuffing makes it easy to reuse for future gifts, crafts, or packing needs.
