An open flag is a sign that businesses display to let customers know they're open and ready for visitors. You'll often see these flags outside storefronts, restaurants, or service centers. Open flags come in various styles, including feather flags, banners, and garden flags, and can be placed outdoors or near entrances. Using an open flag helps attract attention from passersby and makes your business more visible, especially in busy areas or along the street. They're easy to set up and can be a simple way to boost foot traffic.

Choosing the right open flag size depends on where you plan to display it and how much visibility you want.

• For storefronts or sidewalks, larger feather flags (around 10-16 feet tall) stand out from a distance.
• Smaller banners (like 3x5 feet) work well for windows or doors.
• Garden flags are perfect for smaller spaces or home businesses.

Yes, most open flags are designed for outdoor use and made from durable materials like polyester or nylon.

• They're built to withstand wind, rain, and sunlight, but it's a good idea to check product details for weather resistance.
• Some flags are double-sided for extra visibility and reinforced with brass grommets or sturdy stitching.
• To keep your flag looking its best, bring it indoors during severe weather or clean it regularly.

Setting up an open flag with a pole kit is usually straightforward.

1. Start by assembling the pole sections according to the instructions.
2. Slide the flag onto the pole, making sure it's secure and won't slip off.
3. Insert the ground stake or mounting bracket into the ground or a stable surface.
4. Attach the pole to the stake or bracket, and adjust the flag so it's fully visible.

To keep your open flag looking fresh, gently hand wash it with mild soap and water.

• Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, as these can damage the fabric or colors.
• Let the flag air dry completely before folding or storing.
• Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
