Choosing the right size floating shelf depends on your wall space and what you plan to display. Here are a few tips:

• Measure your wall: Check the width and height of the area where you want to install the shelf.
• Consider your items: Think about the size and weight of the objects you'll place on the shelf, like books, plants, or decor.
• Leave space: Make sure there's enough room around the shelf for easy access and a balanced look.

Review the product dimensions in the item description to find a shelf that fits your needs.

Many oak floating shelves can be painted or stained, but it's important to check the product details first. Some shelves come with a finish that may require sanding or priming before applying new paint or stain. If you decide to customize your shelf:

• Test a small area first to see how the material reacts.
• Use products suitable for wood surfaces.
• Allow adequate drying time before placing items on the shelf.

Always follow safety guidelines when working with paints or stains indoors.

Keeping your floating shelf looking great is simple:

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent buildup.
• For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
• Dry the shelf thoroughly after cleaning to prevent moisture damage.

Check the product care instructions for any specific recommendations based on the shelf's finish or material.
