You can use a wide range of controllers with the Nintendo Switch OLED. Most wireless and wired controllers designed for the original Nintendo Switch are also compatible with the OLED model. This includes:

• Wireless Pro-style controllers
• Joy-Con controllers (left and right)
• Third-party controllers that support Switch connectivity
• Wired controllers with USB connection

Always check the product details to confirm compatibility with "Switch OLED" before purchasing. This helps ensure you get the best gaming experience with your setup.

Controllers made for the Nintendo Switch OLED are generally the same as those for the standard Switch and Switch Lite. The main difference is that some newer controllers may mention "OLED" compatibility on their packaging, but they function the same way. Features like wireless connectivity, vibration, motion controls, and programmable buttons are available across many models. It's a good idea to review the product description to see if any unique features are highlighted for the OLED model.

To connect a wireless controller to your Switch OLED:

1. Turn on your Switch OLED and go to the Home menu.
2. Select "Controllers," then "Change Grip/Order."
3. Put your wireless controller into pairing mode (check the product manual for instructions).
4. Wait for the console to recognize the controller, then press the appropriate button to confirm.

Some controllers may require an initial wired connection for setup. Always refer to the controller's manual for specific pairing steps.

If you're experiencing issues with your Joy-Con controllers, you have a few options. First, try troubleshooting steps like updating your console's software or recalibrating the controller. If problems persist, check the manufacturer's warranty information. Some manufacturers offer repair or replacement services. You can also visit Walmart's customer service desk for assistance with returns or exchanges, depending on your purchase date and receipt status.
