Choosing the right cake for a party depends on your guests' preferences and the occasion. Variety cakes offer multiple flavors in one package, making them a great option if you're unsure what everyone likes. Consider the number of guests and whether you want something easy to serve, like pre-sliced cakes or cupcakes. If you need to accommodate different tastes, look for assortments that include chocolate, vanilla, and fruit flavors. Checking the product details for serving sizes can also help you plan for your group.

Some cakes, especially those with cream cheese, whipped icing, or cheesecake varieties, are best kept refrigerated to maintain freshness and texture.

• Check the packaging for storage instructions.
• Refrigerated cakes should be kept cold until serving.
• For cakes without perishable fillings, storing in a cool, dry place may be suitable for short periods.

Some cake assortments may include flavors that contain nuts or are produced in facilities that handle nuts. Always review the ingredient list and allergen information on the packaging before purchasing or serving to those with allergies.
