Not all Android phones support MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) technology. Before purchasing an MHL cable, it's a good idea to check your phone's specifications or user manual to confirm compatibility. Some newer devices may use USB-C with DisplayPort instead of MHL. If your device supports MHL, you can connect it to an HDTV or monitor using the appropriate cable. For the best experience, make sure both your phone and TV support the same connection type.

1. Plug the micro USB or USB-C end of the MHL cable into your phone.
2. Connect the HDMI end to your TV's HDMI port.
3. If your MHL cable has a USB power connector, plug it into a power source to ensure stable performance.
4. Switch your TV to the correct HDMI input.

Your phone's screen should now appear on your TV. If it doesn't, double-check your device's compatibility and cable connections.

• Check compatibility: Make sure your phone supports MHL and that you're using the correct cable type (micro USB or USB-C).
• Secure connections: Ensure all cable ends are firmly plugged in.
• Power supply: Some MHL cables need external power, so connect the USB end to a charger or TV USB port.
• TV input: Confirm your TV is set to the right HDMI input.

If issues persist, try restarting your devices or testing the cable with another compatible device.

Most MHL connections don't require a special app. Once your phone and TV are connected with a compatible MHL cable, your phone's display should automatically mirror to the TV. However, some devices may have settings to enable screen mirroring, so it's worth checking your phone's display or connection settings if nothing appears. Always refer to your device's support resources for specific instructions.

Many MHL cables come with an additional USB connector that allows you to charge your phone during use. Simply plug the USB end into a charger or a powered USB port. This helps keep your device powered while streaming content to your TV. If your cable doesn’t have this feature, your phone may not charge while connected, so check the cable design before purchasing if charging is important to you.
