Mesh Drawstring Bag(1000+)

Start with what you need to carry, then match dimensions and features.

• List your items: Swim fins and towels need more room than goggles and toiletries. Sports balls require larger sacks; small pouches suit cables or travel essentials.
• Check dimensions: Product pages list measurements. Compare to your largest item so it fits comfortably.
• Choose a style: Small pouches (around 6–10 in) for accessories, mid-size sacks for shoes or gym clothes, and backpack-style mesh bags for daily carry.
• Look for extras: Wet/dry pockets, shoe compartments, and side bottle holders add organization without bulk.

Photos and customer reviews on Walmart.com can help visualize capacity. When in doubt, size up for flexibility.

Mesh drawstring bags are helpful for wet gear because they ventilate and dry quickly.

• Pick quick-dry designs: Look for mesh swim backpacks or sacks that promote airflow. Some include a separate wet pocket to help contain drips.
• Protect small items: Keep phones and keys in a separate waterproof pouch since mesh isn’t watertight.
• Minimize mess: Gently wring swimsuits and roll towels before packing. Shake out sand before you leave the beach.
• Air out after use: Unpack promptly and hang the bag to dry to reduce odor buildup.

These steps can help manage damp gear, but results vary based on how much water you carry and how long items stay packed.

Most mesh drawstring bags clean up easily with mild care.

1. Empty and shake: Remove sand and debris. Turn pockets inside out.
2. Hand wash: Use lukewarm water and mild soap. Spot clean seams with a soft brush.
3. Rinse well: Soap residue can attract dirt, so rinse until clear.
4. Air dry: Hang in a ventilated area away from high heat. Avoid dryers unless the care label allows it.
5. Machine wash (if allowed): Place in a laundry bag, close zippers, and use a gentle cycle.

For odor, a light baking soda soak can help, but always follow the product’s care instructions. After beach or pool use, a fresh-water rinse can help reduce salt or chlorine buildup.

For a basketball, look for mesh sports sacks or backpack-style bags with generous dimensions.

• Choose sport-focused designs: Product titles that mention ball bags or team gear often have the space you need.
• Check measurements: Compare the bag’s listed size to your ball and shoes. Ensure the opening is wide enough for easy loading.
• Consider compartments: A shoe compartment, side bottle pockets, and a zipper pouch can keep pump, tape, and keys separate.
• Think comfort: Backpack styles and reinforced straps can make heavier loads easier to carry.

If you’re uncertain, measure your largest item and match it to the bag’s dimensions and photos on Walmart.com before ordering.

Many mesh drawstring bags use standard cords and toggles, so basic repairs are often possible.

• Check the cord diameter: Measure the thickness so a replacement cord lock will fit properly.
• Thread a new cord: Use a safety pin or small clip to feed cord through the channel. Tie secure knots at the ends.
• Finish the ends: Prevent fraying with fabric glue or cord end caps.
• Swap cord locks: Universal cord locks that match your cord size can restore the closure.

If the fabric or stitching is damaged, review the item’s return window on Walmart.com and consider contacting customer care. Availability of parts varies by item, so always verify compatibility before purchasing replacements.
