Choosing luminarias depends on your event's style and location.

• For outdoor pathways or walkways, consider flame-resistant paper bags or LED tea lights for safety and easy setup.
• For indoor celebrations, flameless candles or decorative ceramic luminaries add a cozy touch without open flames.
• Think about the theme—holiday, wedding, or party—and pick designs that match your decor.
• Check if you want features like remote timers or rechargeable options for added convenience.

Flameless candles are generally considered a safer alternative to traditional candles, especially in homes with children or pets.

• They use LED lights instead of real flames, reducing the risk of burns or accidental fires.
• Many are battery-operated and stay cool to the touch.
• It's still important to keep small parts, like batteries, out of reach of young children and pets to avoid choking hazards.

Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions for best results.

Paper luminary bags can often be reused if they're kept dry and handled gently.

• After use, let them cool completely and store them flat in a dry place.
• Flame-resistant bags tend to last longer, especially when paired with flameless candles.
• Exposure to moisture or rough handling may cause tearing, so check each bag before reusing.

Reusing bags can be a simple way to get more value from your purchase, but always inspect for damage before setting them up again.

Setting up luminarias along a walkway is easy with a few simple steps:

1. Choose a clear, flat path and space the luminarias evenly for a balanced look.
2. If using paper bags, add a small weight (like sand) at the bottom to keep them stable.
3. Place your LED tea lights or flameless candles inside each bag or holder.
4. Turn on the lights just before your event for the best effect.

Always use flameless options outdoors to minimize fire risks, especially in windy conditions.

Proper storage helps keep your luminarias in good shape for future events.

• For paper bags, flatten them gently and store in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
• Flameless candles and ceramic luminaries should be wiped clean and kept in a protective box or container.
• Remove batteries from LED candles if you won’t use them for a while to avoid corrosion.

Organizing your luminarias by type and occasion can make setup even easier next time.
