Choosing the right size life jacket for your dog is important for comfort and safety. Start by measuring your dog's chest girth, neck, and length according to the product's sizing chart. Most life jackets have adjustable straps, but it's best to get as close to your dog's measurements as possible.

• Check the weight range listed for each size.
• Look for adjustable buckles and Velcro for a snug fit.
• Make sure your dog can move freely and breathe easily when wearing the jacket.

If you're between sizes, sizing up can help ensure a comfortable fit, but always follow the manufacturer's guidelines.

Yes, dogs can wear life jackets in the pool. Life jackets are designed to provide extra buoyancy and visibility, making them helpful for dogs who are new to swimming or need a little support.

• Always supervise your dog while they're in the water, even with a life jacket on.
• Check that the jacket fits securely and doesn't restrict movement.
• Rinse the jacket with fresh water after pool use to remove chlorine and let it air dry.

Using a life jacket can help your dog feel more confident and safe during pool time.

Cleaning a dog life jacket is simple and helps keep it in good shape.

1. Rinse the jacket with fresh water after each use, especially if it's been in saltwater or a pool.
2. Use mild soap and a soft brush to gently scrub away dirt or debris.
3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
4. Hang the jacket to air dry completely before storing it.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or putting the jacket in a washing machine, as this can damage the materials and reflective accents.

Several features can help make a life jacket safer for your dog:

• High-visibility colors and reflective accents for easy spotting in water.
• Adjustable straps and secure buckles for a snug, comfortable fit.
• Rescue handles on the back for easy lifting.
• Chin floats to help keep your dog's head above water.

Always check the jacket for sturdy construction and ensure it fits your dog's size and weight for the best support during water activities.

Life jackets can be helpful for dogs who aren't strong swimmers or are new to water. They provide extra buoyancy, which can help dogs stay afloat and feel more secure.

• Look for jackets with adjustable straps and rescue handles for added safety.
• Supervise your dog at all times near water, even with a life jacket on.
• Introduce the jacket gradually so your dog gets comfortable wearing it.

While a life jacket can offer support, it doesn't replace the need for close supervision during water activities.
