Finding the right size for a letter jacket is all about comfort and fit. Start by checking the size chart provided on the product page, which usually lists measurements for chest, sleeve length, and overall jacket length.

• Measure yourself or your child using a tape measure, wearing a shirt similar to what you'd wear under the jacket.
• If you're between sizes, consider whether you prefer a snug or relaxed fit.
• For growing kids, sizing up can offer extra room.

If you need more help, Walmart's customer service is available to answer sizing questions.

Most letterman jackets can be cleaned at home, but it's important to check the care label first.

• For wool blend jackets, spot cleaning with mild detergent and cold water is usually best.
• Leather sleeves should be wiped gently with a damp cloth.
• Some jackets may be machine washable on a gentle cycle, but always avoid high heat when drying.

If you're unsure, professional cleaning is a safe option. Following these steps can help keep your jacket looking sharp.

Letter jackets, also known as varsity jackets, stand out for their classic design and symbolic meaning.

• They often feature a wool body with contrasting leather sleeves.
• Letterman jackets are associated with school or team spirit, sometimes displaying patches or embroidered letters.
• The ribbed cuffs and collar add to their sporty style.

While other jackets focus on warmth or rain protection, letter jackets are all about tradition and personal expression.

Letter jackets can offer warmth, especially those with wool blend bodies and insulated linings.

• Wool is naturally insulating, making these jackets suitable for chilly days.
• Some styles include added lining or puffer elements for extra comfort.
• For extreme cold, layering with sweaters or hoodies underneath can help.

Keep in mind that while letter jackets are cozy, they may not be waterproof, so consider layering or pairing with rain gear if needed.

Personalizing a letter jacket is a fun way to showcase your style or achievements.

• Many jackets have space for embroidered letters, numbers, or patches representing schools, teams, or interests.
• Some styles feature graphic prints or color blocking for a unique look.
• Walmart offers a variety of designs, so you can choose one that fits your personality.

If you want to add custom patches, check the jacket's material to make sure it's suitable for sewing or ironing them on.
