LAN (Local Area Network) and Ethernet are closely related, but they're not exactly the same. LAN refers to a network connecting devices within a limited area, like your home or office. Ethernet is a technology used to build LANs, providing the wired connection between devices. So, Ethernet is one way to set up a LAN, but a LAN can also use Wi-Fi or other technologies. If you're shopping for LAN adapters, you're looking for devices that help connect your computer or device to a wired Ethernet network.

Yes, you can use Ethernet with Starlink, but you'll need the right adapter.

• Starlink's standard kit includes a Wi-Fi router, but it doesn't have a built-in Ethernet port.
• To connect devices via Ethernet, you can use a Starlink Ethernet Adapter, which plugs into the router.
• Once connected, you can use LAN adapters to link your computer, gaming console, or other devices for a stable wired connection.

To connect your Firestick to Ethernet, you'll need an Ethernet adapter that's compatible with your device.

1. Plug the adapter into the Firestick's micro-USB port.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the adapter.
3. Power up your Firestick as usual.

Choosing the right LAN adapter depends on your device and needs.

• Check your device's ports—USB-A, USB-C, or Thunderbolt.
• Consider the speed you need, like 1Gbps or higher for gaming or streaming.
• Look for driver-free options if you want easy setup.
• Some adapters offer extra features, like power delivery or multiple ports.

Absolutely! Many LAN adapters are designed to work with MacBooks, especially those with USB-C or Thunderbolt ports.

• Choose an adapter that matches your MacBook's port type.
• Look for plug-and-play models to avoid installing drivers.
• Adapters with power delivery can charge your MacBook while providing a wired connection.
