Many waterproof and diving cases are designed to help protect your iPhone during underwater activities like snorkeling or swimming. However, it's important to check each case's depth rating and usage instructions before submerging your device. Some cases are suitable for shallow water, while others are built for deeper dives. Always ensure the case is sealed properly and follow the manufacturer's guidelines to help reduce the risk of water damage. For best results, test the case without your phone first to confirm it's watertight.

Choosing the right size comes down to matching your iPhone model with the case's compatibility list.

• Check your iPhone's exact model (like iPhone 14 Pro Max or iPhone 13).
• Look for cases that specifically mention your model in their description.
• Some cases are universal and fit a range of sizes, but always double-check the maximum dimensions they support.

Most waterproof diving cases allow basic touchscreen use, but performance can vary underwater.

• Touchscreens often respond less accurately when submerged due to water pressure.
• Some cases include special buttons or levers for taking photos or videos underwater.

Keeping your waterproof case in good shape helps maintain its protective features.

1. Rinse the case with fresh water after each use, especially if you've been in saltwater or chlorinated pools.
2. Let it air dry completely before opening or storing.
3. Check seals and locking mechanisms regularly for sand, dirt, or wear.

If you notice moisture inside your case, remove your iPhone as soon as possible and dry both the device and the case thoroughly.

• Do not use the phone until you're sure it's completely dry.
• Inspect the case for cracks, damaged seals, or debris that may have affected the seal.
