Choosing the right cooler size depends on how you plan to use it.

• For solo trips or lunches, a small cooler (around 9-16 quarts) is usually enough.
• Family outings or picnics might need a medium cooler (28-48 quarts).
• Large gatherings or camping trips often call for a bigger cooler (over 70 quarts).

Think about how many people you’ll be packing for and how much space you have in your vehicle. If you’re unsure, going a bit bigger can help fit extra drinks or snacks.

To help your drinks stay cold, try these tips:

• Pre-chill your cooler and drinks before packing.
• Use plenty of ice or ice packs, filling any empty spaces to reduce air gaps.
• Keep the cooler out of direct sunlight and open it only when needed.
• Layer ice on the bottom and top for better insulation.

These steps can help maintain a lower temperature inside your cooler, so your drinks stay refreshingly cold for longer.

Cleaning your cooler is simple and helps keep it fresh for next time.

1. Empty out any leftover ice, water, or food.
2. Wash the inside and outside with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth or sponge.
3. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
4. Let the cooler air dry completely with the lid open before storing.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the cooler’s surface.

While these coolers are designed to keep items cold, they can also help maintain the temperature of hot food for short periods.

• Preheat the cooler by filling it with warm water for a few minutes, then empty it before adding your hot food.
• Wrap hot dishes in towels to help retain heat.

Keep in mind, these coolers aren’t meant to keep food hot for extended periods, so always check food temperatures for safety.

Replacement parts like handles, latches, or wheels may be available for some cooler models.

• Check the product’s manual or packaging for part numbers.
• Visit Walmart’s website or contact customer service to see if the parts you need are in stock.

Availability can vary by model, so having your cooler’s details handy can help speed up the process.
