Using a high duster for ceiling fans can make cleaning much easier and safer. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Extend the pole to reach your ceiling fan comfortably, making sure it locks securely.
2. Gently sweep the duster along the top and bottom of each fan blade, moving slowly to avoid scattering dust.
3. If your duster has a bendable head, angle it to fit the blade’s shape for better coverage.
4. For stubborn spots, lightly dampen the microfiber head (if the product allows) before dusting.

Always follow the product’s instructions for best results and safety.

Many high dusters come with washable and reusable heads, especially those made from microfiber. To clean them:

• Remove the duster head from the pole as directed by the manufacturer.
• Hand wash with mild soap and warm water, or machine wash if the label allows.
• Let it air dry completely before reattaching to the pole.

Always check the care instructions included with your duster to keep it in good shape and maintain its cleaning performance.

When choosing a high duster, consider these features:

• Extension length: Make sure the pole reaches your highest surfaces, like ceilings or tall shelves.
• Head material: Microfiber heads are great for trapping dust and are often washable.
• Bendable or flexible head: This helps you clean around corners, ceiling fans, and light fixtures.
• Grip and weight: A comfortable handle and lightweight design make cleaning easier.

Think about your specific cleaning needs to find the best fit for your home.

Proper storage helps keep your high duster in good condition. Here are some tips:

• Retract the extension pole to its shortest length to save space.
• Hang the duster using the built-in loop or store it upright in a closet.
• Make sure the duster head is clean and dry before storing to prevent mildew or odors.

Storing your duster properly can help extend its lifespan and keep it ready for your next cleaning session.

Many high dusters are designed with replaceable heads, especially those with microfiber or disposable refills. You can often find compatible replacement heads or refills in the cleaning supplies section at Walmart, both in-store and online. Always check the product details to ensure you’re choosing the right size and type for your duster model. Having extra heads on hand can make it easier to keep your cleaning routine going without interruption.
