Choosing the right grip size for your racquet is important for comfort and control. To find your ideal grip, measure the distance from the tip of your ring finger to the second crease in your palm. Most adult racquets come in a variety of grip sizes, so check the product details before buying. If you’re unsure, you can add an overgrip to slightly increase the size. Trying different grips can help you discover what feels best for your hand and playing style.

Many racquets in this category are suitable for beginners, thanks to their lightweight design and forgiving head size. Look for models with a larger head and a pre-strung setup, which can make learning easier.

• Lightweight racquets help reduce fatigue.
• Pre-strung options mean you can start playing right away.
• Oval frames offer a bigger sweet spot for easier hits.

Keeping your racquet clean helps maintain its performance.

1. Wipe the frame and strings with a damp cloth to remove dirt and sweat.
2. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage the materials.
3. If the grip gets dirty, gently clean it or replace it as needed.

While some racquets are designed specifically for tennis, others are made for squash. It’s important to check the product title and description to see which sport the racquet is intended for.

• Tennis racquets are generally larger and heavier.
• Squash racquets are lighter and have a different shape.

You can find replacement grips and strings in the sports section at Walmart, either online or in-store.

• Look for accessories under tennis or squash categories.
• Many grips and strings are universal and fit most racquets.
• Check the product details to ensure compatibility with your racquet.
