Half Moon Table(692)

You’ll see half moon tables described a few different ways. Common names include:

• Demi-lune table (French for “half moon”)
• Half-round or semi-circle table
• Console table or entryway table with a half-moon shape
• Half-moon end table or side table for smaller pieces

They’re popular in entryways, hallways, and behind sofas because the curved front and narrow depth can save space. On product pages, you’ll often see terms like console, sofa table, or end table used with the half-moon shape so you can quickly spot the size and function that fits your room.

You can keep it simple and functional while adding personality. A few ideas:

• Entryway: Hang a mirror or art above it, add a small tray for keys, a lamp for warm light, and a plant or vase for height.
• Behind a sofa: Layer a lamp with books and a decorative bowl; keep the curved front visible for flow.
• Small spaces: Use shelves or drawers for baskets and mail, limiting decor to 2–3 pieces for a tidy look.

If your table includes an anti-tip kit, consider using it per the instructions. Adjust as needed for your layout and traffic flow.

There’s a wide mix, so it’s easy to match your room:

• Modern: Clean lines, faux marble tops, and geometric metal bases.
• Farmhouse: Wood finishes in natural, gray, or painted tones with open shelves.
• Industrial: Rustic wood paired with black or steel-tone frames.
• Traditional/French country: Curved details, turned legs, and occasional drawers.
• Boho: Textured elements like rattan doors and fluted fronts.
• Glam: Mirrored or clear glass tops for a reflective look.

You’ll also find a range of colors (like black, walnut, white, or navy) and storage options such as shelves, drawers, or cabinets to fit different needs.

Most arrive with hardware and an instruction sheet. A general approach:

1. Unpack and sort parts. Lay pieces on a soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach legs to the top. Start all screws by hand, then tighten gradually.
3. Add any shelves or drawers. Follow the sequence in the manual for alignment.
4. Level the table. Adjust floor glides if included; avoid over-tightening hardware.
5. Final check. Confirm stability and wipe away any dust.

Tools can vary (many include an Allen key; a Phillips screwdriver may help). For safety, consider a second person for larger pieces. Refer to the included instructions and the product page for model-specific steps.

Start with your space and how you’ll use it:

• Measure width and depth. Compare your wall or sofa length to the table’s listed dimensions.
• Entryways and halls: Look for narrow depths; many options are around 12 inches deep.
• Size range: Compact pieces can be about 28–32 inches wide, while longer consoles can reach 40–70+ inches, based on what’s available.
• Height check: Many are around 28–30 inches tall, which works for most entryways.

Choosing a size that fits your layout and traffic flow can help the table feel balanced. Always review the specific product measurements on the page before ordering.
