A griddle scraper is a handy tool for cleaning flat-top grills, griddles, and even kitchen counters. Common uses include:

• Removing cooked-on food and grease after grilling
• Scraping dough or batter from surfaces
• Chopping or dividing food while cooking
• Cleaning up spills or residue on metal surfaces

It's a versatile accessory that helps keep your cooking area tidy and makes cleanup much easier after outdoor or indoor cooking sessions.

Cleaning your griddle scraper is simple and helps it last longer. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Rinse off any loose food particles under warm water.
2. Use mild dish soap and a sponge to scrub both the blade and handle.
3. Dry thoroughly with a towel to prevent water spots or rust, especially if it’s stainless steel.
4. Store in a dry place to keep it in good shape for your next cookout.

Regular cleaning keeps your scraper ready for every grilling session.

It’s best to check your griddle’s care instructions before using a scraper on nonstick surfaces. Metal scrapers may scratch or damage nonstick coatings. If your griddle is nonstick, consider using a plastic or silicone scraper instead. Always use gentle pressure to avoid harming the surface, and keep your tools clean to prevent transferring debris that could scratch.

When choosing a griddle scraper, consider these features for the best experience:

• Material: Stainless steel blades are durable and easy to clean.
• Handle: Look for a comfortable, non-slip grip for safe use.
• Size: Pick a size that matches your griddle or grill for efficient cleaning.
• Versatility: Some scrapers double as choppers or dough cutters, adding extra value.

These features can help you find a scraper that fits your cooking style and needs.

Replacement parts for griddle scrapers, like handles or blades, may be available depending on the brand and model. Check the product packaging or the manufacturer’s website for details on replacement options. You can also browse Walmart’s selection online or in-store to find compatible accessories or replacement tools if needed.
