Choosing the right size cat tree depends on your cat's age, size, and activity level.

• If you have kittens or smaller cats, a compact tree with lower platforms can be easier for them to climb.
• For medium or larger cats, look for trees with sturdy posts and spacious perches.
• Consider your available space at home—measure the area where you plan to place the tree to ensure a good fit.
• Multi-level designs offer more play options, while single-level trees are great for quieter cats.

Taking these factors into account can help you find a cat tree that suits your pet and your living space.

Keeping your gray cat tree clean helps maintain a healthy environment for your pet.

1. Start by removing loose fur and debris with a vacuum or lint roller.
2. Spot clean stains using a mild soap and damp cloth—avoid soaking the fabric.
3. For deeper cleaning, check if the removable parts can be washed separately.
4. Let all surfaces dry completely before allowing your cat to use the tree again.

Regular cleaning can help extend the life of your cat tree and keep it looking fresh.

Most gray cat trees are designed for easy home assembly.

• They typically come with step-by-step instructions and all necessary hardware.
• Tools like an Allen wrench or screwdriver may be included or required.
• It’s helpful to lay out all parts before starting and follow the guide closely.
• If you prefer, you can ask a friend to help, especially with larger models.

Taking your time and checking each step can make the process smoother and safer for your pet.

Gray cat trees with multiple levels, condos, and perches can be a great option for households with more than one cat.

• Look for designs featuring several platforms and hiding spots to give each cat their own space.
• Sturdy construction is important to support the combined weight and activity.
• Extra scratching posts and toys can help keep all your cats entertained.

Multi-cat homes often benefit from larger, more durable cat trees that encourage play and relaxation for every pet.

Many gray cat trees include sisal-covered posts and platforms designed for scratching.

• These features can redirect your cat’s scratching away from furniture and carpets.
• Encouraging your cat to use the tree by placing treats or toys nearby can help.
• Regularly trimming your cat’s nails and providing multiple scratching options can further reduce unwanted scratching.

While results may vary, cat trees often provide a positive outlet for your cat’s natural scratching instincts.
