Choosing the right sample container size depends on what you plan to store. Here are a few tips to help you decide:

• Small sizes (3-5 grams/ml): Great for cosmetics, lip balms, or travel portions of creams.
• Medium sizes (10-20 grams/ml): Useful for lotions, powders, or spices you use often.
• Larger sizes (30 grams/ml and up): Ideal for bulkier items or if you need to store more product at once.

Consider how often you'll refill and how portable you need the container to be. If you’re unsure, starting with a variety pack can help you find your favorite size.

Many sample containers are designed for cosmetics, but some are also suitable for food items like spices or small snacks. Always check the product description to see if the material is food-safe and BPA-free. Glass jars with airtight lids are especially handy for storing spices, as they help keep flavors fresh. For anything edible, make sure the containers are easy to clean and have a secure seal to prevent spills or leaks.

To keep your sample jars in good shape, follow these cleaning tips:

1. Rinse out any leftover product with warm water.
2. Wash with mild soap and a soft brush or sponge, reaching all corners.
3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
4. Let the jars and lids air dry completely before refilling.

For glass jars, you can usually place them in the dishwasher if the manufacturer says it’s safe. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads to prevent scratching, especially on plastic containers.

Many sample containers feature screw-on or snap lids designed to help prevent leaks, making them convenient for travel. However, leak resistance can vary by design and how tightly the lid is secured. For liquids or creams, it’s a good idea to test the container with water before packing. Placing containers in a resealable bag can add extra protection in your luggage, just in case.

Staying organized is easy with sample containers. Many come with blank or pre-printed labels for quick identification. You can also use masking tape and a marker for a simple solution. For a more polished look, try waterproof or color-coded labels. Grouping containers by size or content in a small bin or pouch can help you find what you need fast, whether you’re at home or on the go.
