Choosing the right size floater frame starts with measuring your canvas or photo. Make sure to check both the height and width, as well as the depth of your artwork. Most floater frames are designed to fit specific dimensions, so look for frames that match your piece closely. If your canvas is stretched, measure from edge to edge and include the thickness. Frames often list compatible sizes and depths in their descriptions, so double-check before buying. This helps your art fit snugly and look its best on your wall.

Yes, most floater frames are designed to be versatile and can be hung either vertically or horizontally.

• Check the frame’s hardware: Many come with pre-installed hanging systems that work both ways.
• Look for adjustable brackets or hooks if you want flexibility.
• Always follow the instructions included with your frame for safe installation.

To keep your floater frame looking sharp, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust. For tougher spots, lightly dampen the cloth with water—avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. If your frame is acrylic or metal, check the care instructions for any special cleaning tips. Regular dusting helps maintain the frame’s appearance and keeps your art looking fresh.

Floater frames are mainly designed for stretched canvas paintings, but some styles can also accommodate canvas prints and photos, especially those mounted on sturdy backing.

• Check the frame’s depth and compatibility details.
• For photos, look for frames with acrylic or glass panels for protection.
• Always confirm the thickness of your artwork matches the frame’s specifications.

Many floater frames come pre-assembled or with simple instructions for setup.

• Some require you to slide your canvas into the frame and secure it with included hardware.
• Others may need basic tools like a screwdriver.
• Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for best results.
