Flared capris are often called capri flare pants, cropped flare leggings, or bootcut capris these days. You might also see them listed as gaucho pants or culottes depending on the leg width and style. These names can vary by brand and fashion trend, but they all refer to capri-length pants with a wider, flared leg opening. If you're shopping online, try searching for these terms to see a variety of styles and fits available at Walmart.

Capris continue to be a popular choice for their comfort and versatility, and they're expected to remain in style through 2026. Fashion trends often cycle, but capri pants—especially flared and wide-leg versions—are great for warm weather, workouts, and casual wear. Many designers are updating capri styles with new fabrics, colors, and details, so you'll find plenty of fresh options each season. Checking out current collections at Walmart is a good way to see the latest takes on this classic look.

Flared capris can be flattering on a wide range of body types because their cropped length and wider leg opening help balance proportions. They can create a relaxed, flowy silhouette and work well for casual, active, or lounge looks. If you prefer a more tailored fit, look for styles with a higher waist or adjustable drawstrings. Ultimately, the best fit depends on your comfort and style preferences, so don't hesitate to try a few options to see what feels best for you.

Styling flared capri pants is all about mixing comfort with your personal touch. Here are some ideas:

• Casual: Pair with a simple tee or tank top and sneakers or sandals.
• Active: Match with a fitted workout top for yoga or gym sessions.
• Work: Choose a blouse or lightweight sweater and flats for a relaxed office vibe.
• Lounge: Add a cozy sweatshirt or oversized tee for at-home comfort.

Accessories like belts or statement jewelry can also help personalize your look.

Capris and pedal pushers are both cropped pants, but they differ slightly in length and style. Capris usually end at mid-calf, while pedal pushers typically stop just below the knee. Flared capris may have a wider leg opening, whereas pedal pushers are often more fitted. Both styles are comfortable and practical for warm weather, so your choice depends on the look and feel you prefer. You’ll find both options in a variety of fabrics and fits at Walmart.
