You can usually display a folded flag in a case with a few simple steps.

1. Match the size: Confirm your flag is 3'x5' or 5'x9.5' and choose a case designed for that size.
2. Fold neatly: Use a traditional triangle fold so stars are visible on the front.
3. Open the back: Remove the rear panel or turn buttons to access the interior.
4. Position the flag: Place the triangle so the stars face the clear front. Tuck edges in for a snug fit.
5. Secure and close: If the case includes pins or supports, use them to keep the flag from shifting, then close carefully.

Placing the case away from direct sunlight and moisture can help preserve the fabric.

Flag display cases are available on Walmart.com in a variety of sizes and styles.

• Search and filter: Look for “flag display case” and use filters to choose wall-mounted or tabletop, finishes like black, cherry, walnut, or mahogany, and size (3'x5' or 5'x9.5').
• Check details: Review dimensions, mounting options, and photos to confirm fit and look.
• Read reviews: Customer feedback can offer helpful notes about build, clarity of the front panel, and ease of setup.
• Choose fulfillment: Delivery and pickup options may be available depending on your location.

If you’re honoring a memorial or service flag, verify the case is compatible with your folded flag’s size before ordering.

Start with your flag’s size, then match it to the case.

• 3'x5' flags: Choose cases labeled for 3'x5' flags; these are smaller triangular displays.
• 5'x9.5' (burial) flags: Select cases noted for 5'x9.5'; these accommodate the larger folded triangle often used for memorials.
• Verify dimensions: Compare the case’s interior measurements on the product page to your folded flag for the best fit.
• Consider extras: If you want a pedestal, nameplate, or medallion, make sure there’s space or that the case includes those features.

Sizing can vary by design, so checking the listed dimensions and photos before you buy can help you choose confidently.

Many flag display cases are designed for flexible placement.

• Wall mounting: Look for built-in keyholes or included brackets/hardware. When possible, consider anchoring into a stud or using appropriate wall anchors for the case’s weight.
• Tabletop display: Some cases include pedestals or flat bases for shelves, mantels, or desks.
• Space planning: Check the case’s dimensions and weight to ensure a stable, level surface and enough clearance.
• Environment: Position away from direct sun, heat sources, and high-humidity areas to help protect the fabric and finish.

Always review the product page and any included instructions for specific mounting guidance and hardware compatibility.

A few care habits can help keep your display looking fresh.

• Choose an enclosed case: A clear front panel and tight back help reduce dust exposure.
• Gentle cleaning: Wipe the exterior wood or finish with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Clean the clear panel with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that may haze the surface.
• Limit exposure: Place the case away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat to help preserve color and fabric.
• Open sparingly: Minimizing how often you open the case can help keep dust out.

Materials vary, so checking the care notes on the product page is a good idea before cleaning.
