Choosing the best size for your fish suit depends on the type—pet or adult costumes. Start by checking the size chart provided for each item, which often lists measurements like chest, waist, or pet girth. If you're shopping for a pet, measure your pet’s neck, chest, and length to match up with the sizing guide. For adults, focus on clothing size and fit.

• Check each product’s description for specific sizing info.
• When in doubt, size up for comfort.
• If your pet or you are between sizes, a looser fit usually works better for movement.

Pet fish suits are designed with comfort in mind, but every pet is different. Look for costumes made of soft, breathable materials that won’t restrict movement. Before dressing your pet,

• Check for adjustable straps to ensure a secure but gentle fit.
• Observe your pet the first time they wear the outfit—some may need time to get used to it.
• Remove the costume if your pet seems stressed or uncomfortable.

Absolutely! Fish suits and aquatic-themed costumes aren’t limited to Halloween.

• They’re popular for birthday parties, cosplay events, school plays, and pet-themed celebrations.
• Pet fish suits are especially fun for pet birthdays and local meet-ups.
• Check costume descriptions for recommendations about suitable occasions.

Maintaining your fish suit helps it last through several uses.

• Most costumes are designed for spot cleaning with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh detergents.
• If machine washing is safe, the care tag will indicate so. Always use a gentle cycle and cold water.
• Dry costumes flat or hang them in a cool, dry place—avoid high heat.

Many fish suits are created to allow comfortable movement, but it depends on the design and sizing.

• Look for costumes that mention flexibility or adjustable features in their description.
• When first trying on the suit, move around or let your pet walk to check range of motion.
• If the costume seems tight or limits activities, it’s best to choose a larger size or a different design.
