An elevator frame is designed to display important documents, notices, or advertisements inside or near elevators. These frames help keep permits, certificates, inspection reports, or promotional materials visible and protected.

• Commercial Use: Many buildings use elevator frames to comply with regulations by displaying inspection certificates.
• Advertising: Some frames are made for holding posters or ads in high-traffic elevator areas.
• Durability: Most are built from sturdy materials like stainless steel or aluminum to withstand frequent handling and public environments.

Choosing the right frame depends on your specific needs, such as document size and security features.

Installing an elevator certificate frame is usually straightforward, but always follow the included instructions for your specific product.

1. Choose the Location: Pick a spot inside or near the elevator where the certificate is easily visible.
2. Mark the Mounting Points: Use the frame as a template to mark where you'll need to drill holes.
3. Secure the Frame: Attach the frame to the wall using the appropriate hardware, such as screws or anchors.
4. Insert the Certificate: Open the frame (some are lockable) and place your document inside, then close and secure it.

If you're unsure, consider consulting building management or a professional installer.

Many elevator frames are designed with lockable features to help prevent tampering or unauthorized removal of displayed documents.

• Lockable Options: Look for frames that mention a locking mechanism or include a key in the product description.
• Commercial Use: Lockable frames are especially popular in commercial settings where security and compliance are important.
• Material: These frames are often made from heavy-duty materials like stainless steel or aluminum for added durability.

Always check the product details to confirm if a frame is lockable before purchasing.

• Regular Dusting: Wipe the frame with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
• Use Mild Cleaners: For tougher spots, use a damp cloth with mild soap—avoid harsh chemicals that could damage metal finishes.
• Check for Damage: Periodically inspect the frame for loose screws or signs of wear, especially if it's in a high-traffic area.
• Document Protection: Make sure the frame is properly closed to protect documents from moisture or tampering.

Regular care can help your elevator frame last longer and look its best.
