Hatching Easter eggs are fun novelty toys that 'grow' creatures when placed in water. Here's how they generally work:

• Remove the egg from its packaging.
• Submerge it in a container of clean water, making sure the egg is fully covered.
• Over the next 12-48 hours, the shell will crack and a toy animal (like a dinosaur or unicorn) will slowly emerge and expand.
• For best results, keep the water at room temperature and change it daily.

These toys offer a surprise element and can be a creative addition to Easter baskets or party favors.

Most hatching Easter eggs sold at Walmart are designed for children and are made from non-toxic materials. To ensure safety:

• Always check the packaging for age recommendations and warnings.
• Supervise younger children during play, especially if the toy contains small parts.
• Keep the eggs away from pets and avoid ingestion of any components.

If your child has allergies or sensitivities, review product details carefully. These toys are intended for play and not for consumption.

Yes, hatching eggs make exciting additions to Easter egg hunts! Here's how you can use them:

• Hide the eggs around your yard or home just like traditional eggs.
• After the hunt, kids can take their eggs home and watch the surprise creatures hatch in water.
• They're also great for party favors or classroom prizes.

These toys add a unique twist to the classic Easter egg hunt, offering both immediate fun and a longer-lasting activity.

The hatching process usually takes between 12 and 48 hours, depending on the toy and water conditions. Tips for best results:

• Keep the egg fully submerged in clean, room-temperature water.
• Change the water daily to prevent odors and help the toy expand.
• Once the shell cracks, let the toy sit in water until it reaches its full size.

Patience is key—watching the creature slowly emerge adds to the excitement!

After the toy has fully hatched and grown, you can remove it from the water and let it dry. Here are some ideas:

• Use it as a decoration or play figure.
• Store it in a cool, dry place to prevent shrinking.
• If you want the toy to shrink and regrow, you can alternate between drying and soaking it.

These toys are meant for imaginative play and can be reused for creative activities or as keepsakes from your Easter celebration.
