Drawing gloves are designed to help artists create smoother lines on digital tablets or paper by reducing friction between your hand and the surface. They can:

• Prevent smudges and accidental marks while sketching
• Enable palm rejection on touch screens, so your hand doesn’t interfere with your drawing
• Offer comfort during long drawing sessions
• Help keep your tablet or paper clean

Whether you’re working digitally or traditionally, drawing gloves can make your creative process more comfortable and precise.

Yes, drawing gloves go by several names depending on their use and design. You might see them called:

• Artist gloves
• Two-finger gloves
• Palm rejection gloves
• Smudge guard gloves

These terms all refer to gloves that help artists avoid smudges and improve their experience on tablets or paper. The main difference is usually the number of fingers covered and the materials used.

Wearing a drawing glove is simple and can help you work more comfortably. Here’s how:

1. Slip the glove onto your drawing hand, covering your pinky and ring finger (most designs cover two fingers).
2. Adjust the fit so it’s snug but not tight, allowing for easy movement.
3. Make sure the glove’s palm side faces the drawing surface to reduce friction and enable palm rejection.

Drawing gloves are usually ambidextrous, so you can use them on either hand depending on your preference.

For digital drawing, gloves with palm rejection and two-finger coverage are popular. Look for:

• Elastic materials like Lycra or spandex for flexibility
• Ambidextrous designs for left or right hand use
• Breathable fabric to keep your hand comfortable
• Snug fit without restricting movement

These features can help minimize friction, prevent accidental touches, and keep your artwork clean. Explore Walmart’s selection to find a glove that fits your style and device.
