Choosing the best desktop or server depends on your needs. Here are a few things to consider:

• Usage: For everyday tasks like browsing and emails, a basic desktop works well. For gaming, creative work, or running business applications, look for higher specs.
• Performance: Check the processor (CPU), memory (RAM), and storage (SSD or HDD). More RAM and a faster processor can help with multitasking and speed.
• Form Factor: Mini PCs save space, while towers and all-in-ones offer more expandability.
• Servers: If you need file sharing, backups, or business applications, consider a dedicated server.

Review product details and compare options to match your requirements.

Many desktops and some servers allow for upgrades, but it depends on the model. Here are some general tips:

• Memory (RAM): Most towers and all-in-ones let you add or swap RAM, but mini PCs may have fixed memory.
• Storage: Upgrading to a larger SSD or HDD is common in desktops and servers. Check if the product has extra slots or bays.
• Graphics Cards: Some desktops support new graphics cards, while all-in-ones and mini PCs might not.

Always review the product's specifications and consult the manufacturer’s guidelines before making upgrades.

The main difference is their purpose and hardware design:

• Desktops: Built for personal or office use, handling tasks like web browsing, office work, or gaming. They usually have user-friendly interfaces and are ready to use out of the box.
• Servers: Designed to manage network resources, store files, or run business applications. Servers often have more robust hardware, support for multiple users, and advanced features like RAID storage and remote management.

Think about your needs—if you’re running a business or need centralized storage, a server might be the way to go.

Setting up is usually straightforward. Here’s a general guide:

1. Unpack your computer and place it on a stable surface.
2. Connect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cable.
3. For servers, connect to your network using an Ethernet cable.
4. Turn on the device and follow the on-screen setup instructions.
5. Install updates and security software as prompted.

For servers, you may need to configure network settings or user accounts. Always refer to the included manual for specific steps and safety tips.

If your desktop or server feels sluggish, try these steps:

• Restart: A simple reboot can clear temporary issues.
• Update Software: Make sure your operating system and drivers are current.
• Free Up Space: Delete unused files or programs to improve performance.
• Check for Malware: Run a security scan to rule out viruses.
• Upgrade Hardware: Adding more RAM or switching to an SSD can help, if your model supports upgrades.

If issues continue, consult the manufacturer’s support or a professional technician for further help.
