Choosing a smartwatch for kids can be fun but there are a few things to keep in mind:

• Safety features: Look for GPS tracking, parental controls, and SOS buttons for peace of mind.
• Durability: Kids can be rough on their gear, so a sturdy, waterproof design is helpful.
• Easy-to-use interface: Simple menus and touch screens make it easier for younger users.
• Battery life: Longer battery means less charging and more play time.

Consider what features matter most for your family and explore Walmart’s selection to find a good fit.

Many smartwatches offer fitness and sleep tracking features. You’ll find models that monitor steps, calories, heart rate, and even sleep patterns. These tools can help you stay motivated and understand your daily activity levels. Some watches also let you set goals or reminders for movement. While these features provide useful insights, results may vary depending on the device and how it’s worn. Always check the product description for details on what’s included.

Water resistance varies by model, so it’s important to check the specifications for each contract watch. Some are designed for everyday splashes, while others can handle swimming or outdoor activities. Look for terms like IP68 or 5ATM in the product details, which indicate different levels of protection. If you plan to use your watch near water, make sure to review the manufacturer’s guidelines to avoid accidental damage.

Setting up calling features on a smartwatch usually involves pairing the watch with your smartphone via Bluetooth or using a SIM/eSIM if supported. Here’s a general guide:

1. Follow the instructions in the user manual to connect your watch to your phone.
2. Install any required apps for calling and messaging.
3. Adjust settings to enable call notifications and contacts.

Features may differ by model, so check the product’s setup guide for step-by-step instructions. If you need extra help, Walmart’s customer support can assist.

To keep your smartwatch in great shape:

• Clean the screen and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or chemicals.
• Charge it using the recommended charger and avoid overcharging.
• Store it safely when not in use, especially if it’s not waterproof.

Following these tips can help extend the life of your device. For specific care instructions, refer to the user manual provided with your watch.
