Choosing the right size recovery cone is important for your pet's comfort and safety.

• Measure your pet's neck circumference and compare it to the sizing chart provided on the product page.
• Check that the cone extends just past your pet's nose to help prevent licking or biting wounds, but not so far that it interferes with eating or drinking.
• If your pet is between sizes, consider their activity level and fur thickness for the best fit.

Taking a few minutes to measure can help your pet recover more comfortably.

Most recovery cones are designed so pets can eat and drink without removing them.

• Look for cones with a wide enough opening at the base to allow your pet to reach their food and water bowls.
• Soft or inflatable cones may offer more flexibility for daily activities.
• If your pet seems to struggle, try raising their bowls or using shallow dishes to make access easier.

Always supervise your pet at first to make sure they're comfortable and able to eat and drink normally.

Keeping your pet's recovery cone clean helps prevent irritation and keeps them comfortable.

• For plastic cones, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Soft or fabric cones can often be hand-washed or machine-washed—just check the care instructions on the label.
• Inflatable cones usually have removable covers that can be washed separately.

Regular cleaning can help your pet heal in a fresh, hygienic environment.
