A command shelf is a wall-mounted organizer that lets you add extra storage space without drilling holes or using tools. They’re designed with strong adhesive strips, so you can hang them in places like bathrooms, kitchens, or entryways. Common uses include holding toiletries in the shower, displaying small décor items, or organizing cleaning supplies under the sink. Because they’re removable and damage-free, command shelves are great for renters or anyone who wants flexible storage solutions. Just be sure to check the weight limit and surface compatibility before installing.

The weight command strips can hold depends on the specific product and size.

• Smaller strips are usually designed for lightweight items, like small picture frames or ledges (around 2 lbs).
• Medium and large strips can support heavier shelves or caddies, with some holding up to 10 lbs.

Command picture hangers are designed to provide a secure, damage-free way to hang frames and art. When used according to the instructions, they can hold up well on smooth, painted, or tiled walls.

• Proper surface prep is key—clean the wall with rubbing alcohol and let it dry before applying.
• Allow the adhesive to set for the recommended time before hanging anything.

Floating shelves remain a popular choice for home organization and decor. Their clean, minimalist look fits a variety of styles, and they’re practical for displaying photos, plants, or collectibles. Command shelves offer a modern twist by making installation easy and damage-free, so you can update your space without commitment. Trends may evolve, but versatile storage solutions like these continue to be a go-to for renters, homeowners, and anyone looking to maximize wall space in a stylish way.

Command shelves are designed for easy removal, but reusing them depends on the condition of the adhesive strips.

• The shelves themselves can often be reused, but you’ll need new adhesive strips for secure mounting in a new location.
• Replacement strips are usually available separately, so you don’t have to buy a whole new shelf.
