Choosing the right size for cold weather gear is important for comfort and warmth. Check the size chart on each product page, as sizing can vary between brands and styles. If you're between sizes, consider how you plan to wear the gear—if layering over other clothes, you might want a slightly looser fit. For kids, look for sets that offer a range of sizes (like XS-XXL) to match their measurements. If you need more help, Walmart's customer reviews often mention fit and sizing tips from other shoppers.

Thermal underwear is designed as a base layer, but many people wear it on its own for lounging or casual activities.

• Fleece-lined options can be cozy enough for indoor wear.
• Some styles look like regular leggings or tops, making them versatile for layering or solo use.
• For outdoor activities, it's best to layer thermals under your regular clothes for extra warmth.

To keep your fleece-lined thermal gear in good shape, follow these care tips:

1. Turn items inside out before washing to protect the fleece.
2. Use cold water and a gentle cycle to help preserve the fabric.
3. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can affect the material's performance.
4. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat to prevent shrinking or damage.

Many thermal sets are designed to be worn as a base layer for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, or running in cold weather.

• Look for performance features such as moisture-wicking fabric and stretch for ease of movement.
• Lightweight options are great for layering without bulk.
• Fleece-lined styles offer extra warmth for colder days.

Kids’ and adults’ thermal sets are both designed to provide warmth, but there are a few differences:

• Sizing: Kids’ sets come in a wider range of sizes (like XS-XXL) to fit growing children.
• Design: Kids’ thermals may have softer seams and more flexible fabrics for comfort during play.
• Style: Some kids’ sets feature fun colors or patterns, while adult sets often have a more classic look.
