Storing cold brew at home is simple with the right container.

• Use a clean, airtight pitcher or mason jar to keep your cold brew fresh and prevent it from absorbing fridge odors.
• Always refrigerate your cold brew to slow down oxidation and maintain its flavor.
• Glass containers are a popular choice since they don’t affect taste, but BPA-free plastic pitchers also work well for easy pouring and storage.

Cold brew can usually be kept in the fridge for up to a week, but always check for changes in taste or aroma before drinking.

It’s best to keep cold brew in the fridge once it’s brewed.

• Refrigeration helps keep the coffee fresh and slows down the growth of bacteria or mold.
• Leaving cold brew on the counter can cause it to spoil faster, especially if it contains milk or sweeteners.

For the best taste and safety, store your cold brew in a sealed container in the refrigerator and enjoy it within a week.

The best container for cold brew is one that’s airtight, easy to clean, and made from non-reactive materials.

• Glass pitchers or mason jars are popular because they don’t hold onto flavors or odors.
• BPA-free plastic pitchers with tight lids are also convenient for pouring and storing in the fridge.
• Look for containers with built-in filters if you want to brew and store in one vessel.

Choose a size that fits your fridge and meets your household’s needs.

Cleaning your cold brew pitcher regularly helps keep your coffee tasting fresh.

• Rinse the pitcher and filter with warm, soapy water after each use.
• For glass pitchers, most are dishwasher safe—just check the manufacturer’s instructions first.
• Use a bottle brush to reach the bottom and corners, especially if you notice any residue.
• Let all parts dry completely before reassembling and storing.

Regular cleaning prevents buildup and keeps your cold brew tasting its best.
