Choosing the right size clip-ons is all about matching them to your eyeglass frames. Here’s how you can do it:

• Check your frame measurements: Most eyeglasses have size details printed on the inside of the arm or bridge. Look for numbers like 54-18 or 52-16.
• Compare shapes: Make sure the clip-ons are a similar shape (rectangle, oval, etc.) to your glasses for the best fit.
• Try them on: If you’re shopping in-store, bring your glasses to test the fit. Online, look for sizing guides or product dimensions in the description.

A snug fit helps the clip-ons stay secure and comfortable throughout the day.

Clip-ons are designed to fit over most prescription glasses, but compatibility depends on a few factors:

• Frame shape: Clip-ons work best with standard frame shapes like rectangles or ovals. Unusual shapes or very thick frames may not be compatible.
• Size match: Make sure the clip-ons are close in size to your glasses for a secure fit.
• Lens curvature: Flat or slightly curved lenses are ideal. Highly curved or wraparound frames might not work as well.

Always check the product details or try them on to see if they fit your specific glasses.

Keeping your clip-on sunglasses clean helps maintain clear vision and extends their life. Here’s a simple routine:

• Rinse with water: Gently rinse the lenses to remove dust or debris.
• Use a mild soap: Apply a drop of gentle dish soap and rub lightly with your fingers.
• Dry with a microfiber cloth: Avoid paper towels, which can scratch the lenses.
• Store safely: Keep your clip-ons in a case when not in use to prevent scratches.

Regular cleaning can help your clip-ons look and perform their best.

Polarized clip-ons can be a great choice for driving because they help reduce glare from reflective surfaces like roads and car hoods. Here’s what you should know:

• Glare reduction: Polarized lenses filter out horizontal light, making it easier to see in bright conditions.
• Comfort: Less glare can mean less eye strain on sunny days.
• Visibility: They can improve contrast and clarity, especially during midday or when driving near water.

While many drivers find polarized clip-ons helpful, individual results may vary based on lighting and personal preference.

Flip-up and regular clip-ons both attach to your glasses, but they work a little differently:

• Flip-up clip-ons: These let you quickly switch between shaded and clear vision by flipping the lenses up or down without removing them.
• Regular clip-ons: These stay in place until you take them off, offering a more streamlined look.
• Convenience: Flip-ups are handy if you move between indoors and outdoors often, while regular clip-ons are simple and lightweight.

Choosing between them depends on your daily routine and style preferences.
