Setting up a claw machine kit is pretty straightforward and can make for a fun activity. You'll usually start by placing the machine on a flat, stable surface.

• Check the instructions for any required assembly steps, like attaching handles or lids.
• Next, fill the prize compartment with toys or candy, making sure the items aren't too large for the claw to grab.
• Plug in the machine if it's electronic, or make sure batteries are installed.
• Always test the claw to make sure it moves smoothly and functions as expected.

Following these steps can help you get started, but specifics may vary based on the model.

Most claw machine kits are designed with kids in mind, especially those intended for ages 3 and up. Adult supervision is recommended when younger children are playing, mainly to help with operation and to avoid any mishaps with small prizes or electronic parts.

• Check the manufacturer's guidelines for age recommendations.
• Some machines have small pieces or require coins, so consider supervising during initial play sessions.

Providing guidance can make the experience more enjoyable and keep things safe.

Small, lightweight items often work best in claw machine kits.

• Mini plush toys, wrapped candies, small figurines, or capsules are popular choices.
• Make sure prizes fit comfortably inside the compartment and aren't too heavy or slippery for the claw mechanism.
• Mixing different types of prizes can keep the game interesting and fun.

Using the right size and texture of prizes can help improve the grabbing action, making play more rewarding.

It's a good idea to keep claw machine kits clean, especially after frequent use.

• Unplug or turn off the machine before cleaning.
• Use a dry cloth to wipe the exterior and prize compartment.
• If needed, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but avoid getting moisture near the electronics or motor parts.
• Remove any leftover candy or toys regularly to prevent sticky residue.

Routine cleaning helps maintain both appearance and functionality, and always refer to the user guide for model-specific care tips.

While many claw machine kits are sold as complete sets, replacement parts (like claws, motors, or game tokens) may be available through the manufacturer or specialty shops.

• It's useful to check the product manual or contact customer support for details.
• If parts are not available, some kits may offer basic troubleshooting steps to address minor issues.
• Keeping your machine in good shape starts with regular maintenance and careful use.

For questions about specific replacement parts, Walmart’s customer service can often help point you in the right direction.
