Paper brightness refers to how much light the paper reflects, which affects how colors appear when printed. A higher brightness number means a whiter, more vibrant look that can help text and images pop. Most case paper options, like those on this page, are around 92-94 brightness, making them suitable for everyday documents, schoolwork, and business use. If you're looking for sharp contrast, consider paper with higher brightness. Ultimately, your choice depends on the impression you want your printed materials to make.

• Keep your reams of paper in a cool, dry place to help prevent curling and jams in your printer.
• Avoid storing paper near windows or areas with high humidity, as this can cause pages to stick together or warp.
• If possible, leave the paper in its wrapper until you’re ready to use it to protect against dust and moisture.
• Stack cartons or cases flat on a sturdy surface to avoid damaging the edges or corners.

Following these steps can help your paper stay fresh and ready for everyday printing tasks.

Most standard copy paper in cases is designed to work well for double-sided (duplex) printing, especially when using home or office printers. The typical 20 lb. weight helps prevent ink from bleeding through, though extra-heavy ink coverage or certain printers may require heavier paper. For frequent double-sided printing, make sure to adjust your printer settings and test a few sheets to check for any show-through, so your documents look their best.

• Paper size: 8.5" x 11" is standard for most printers and copiers, but always double-check what your equipment needs.
• Weight: 20 lb. is common for everyday printing, while heavier paper may be preferred for formal documents.
• Brightness: Higher numbers mean sharper, more vibrant prints.
• Sheet count: Cases can contain varying numbers of reams and sheets, so consider your printing volume.

Making note of these features can help you pick the right case for your needs.

Unused or used copy paper is typically accepted in most curbside recycling programs. To help the recycling process:

• Remove staples, paper clips, or plastic covers before tossing in the bin.
• Avoid recycling paper that’s soiled with food or grease, as it may not be accepted.
• Check with your local waste management guidelines if you’re unsure.

Recycling paper helps reduce waste and can support a more sustainable office or home environment.
