Artificial grass plants are often referred to as faux grass, fake grass plants, or artificial greenery. These decorative items are designed to mimic the look of real grass and ornamental plants, making them a popular choice for indoor and outdoor spaces. You’ll find varieties like faux pampas grass, artificial wheat grass, and plastic monkey grass. They’re great for adding greenery to patios, gardens, offices, or porches without the need for watering or maintenance.

Unlike real ornamental grasses, artificial grass plants don’t require trimming or cutting back.

• They’re made from durable materials like plastic or PVC, so their shape stays consistent.
• If you notice stray strands or want to adjust the height, you can gently trim them with scissors.
• Regular dusting or wiping helps keep them looking fresh, but there’s no seasonal maintenance needed.

Cleaning artificial grass decor is simple and helps keep your space looking tidy.

1. Use a soft cloth or feather duster to remove dust from the leaves and stems.
2. For tougher dirt, gently wipe with a damp cloth—avoid soaking the plant.
3. If your faux grass is outdoors, you can rinse it with water, but let it air dry completely before placing it back.

Fake grass plants are considered low maintenance because:

• They don’t need watering, sunlight, or soil.
• No pruning, fertilizing, or pest control is required.
• They’re often UV resistant, so they won’t fade easily outdoors.
