Choosing the right filter for your wet/dry vacuum depends on your vacuum's size and the type of cleaning you plan to do. Check your vacuum's manual to see which filter sizes are compatible. For example, standard dust cartridge filters often fit 5-18 gallon models, while smaller vacuums may need a combo cloth and foam filter. If you're cleaning up wet messes, look for foam filters designed for wet pickup. For dry debris, disposable filter bags or cloth filters are a good choice. Always make sure the filter matches your vacuum's capacity for the best performance.

Most wet/dry vacuums require different filters for wet and dry cleaning.

• Foam filters are typically used for wet pickups, as they handle moisture better.
• Cloth or cartridge filters are designed for dry debris like dust and dirt.

How often you change your vacuum filter depends on how frequently you use your vacuum and the type of debris you pick up.

• For disposable filter bags, replace them when they're about two-thirds full or if you notice a drop in suction.
• Reusable filters like foam or cloth should be cleaned regularly and replaced if they show signs of wear or damage.

A micro cleaning kit is designed to help you clean small, hard-to-reach areas with your wet/dry vacuum.

• These kits usually include tiny brushes, crevice tools, and adapters that fit onto your vacuum hose.
• They're great for cleaning keyboards, vents, car interiors, and other tight spaces where standard attachments might not fit.

Replacement parts like filters, filter bags, and tool adapters are widely available for most wet/dry vacuums.

• Walmart offers a variety of universal filters and accessories that fit many popular vacuum sizes, from 1.5 to 18 gallons.
• Always check your vacuum's model number to ensure compatibility before purchasing replacement parts.
