Welcome to another episode of Jay Leno's garage

I only have one or two other Speed Champion's sets but when I saw these on the website I had to get this iconic vehicle. I have to say the designers have done a remarkable job of capturing the angular wedge shape of Gandini's famous car. I still have a problem getting the rear scoops to sit straight, but other than that it's impressive how true to the original it looks. Especially like the wheels! Just like Jay Leno however, I ditched the silly rear wing which just ruins the overall shape of the car...

The Best Yet!

I have built a lot of the Speed Champions sets and this is the one I think is this best yet. This models contains some really interesting build techniques. I made one small change that i thinks looks much better, see attached.
