I have many editions of Lotr books, including many new deluxe versions. These are the best. They are so nice i didnt want to touch them or read them. Bought a second seg on sale for $145, which was almost 50% off what i paid at release. Just so i can read them and put yhem in a back pack and not care if they get beat up a bit. Definitely recommend over the single deluxe version on bible paper. The paper is scid free, thick, paintings are boardered like the Folio edition. They finally created the perfect edition thats readable snd normal size, unlike the HUGE folio coffee table edition.
