Mainstays 4-Slice Toaster Black with 6 Shade Settings and Removable Crumb Tray

Great toaster to supplement the one my kids dropped until I can go invest in a better one. Definitely does the job. I would just stick with this one because I could survive without a to. Of settings and just using a number dial for desired darkness but there is no button to pop the toast up should you want to get your toast up before the toasting cycle is through. I have tried turning the dial all the way down to its lowest setting and that hasn't worked either. It is actual pretty tough to pop the sliders up manually so I'm guessing it won't be an exceptionally long time before I break them. Otherwise, it definitely serves its purpose and makes wonderful toast at a pretty quick pace.

It's pleasantly black, the crumb trays are easy to use, and it seems to toast nicely. That said, I have problems with it. The setting control numbers are hard to see and, worse yet, the mark on the knobs to tell you what number you have chosen is just a black indent. Black on black - what were they thinking? Plus, if you choose a control setting you like determined to never touch the controls again, you better not decide to cancel a toasting because you do that by turning the knob all the way to the left and once you do, you'll need a flashlight to reset the toaster to your desired numbers. Unless you decide to always cancel by unplugging the toaster? Anyway, it does toast nicely.
