Love this griddle

I've waited a couple years to buy this. My husband put it together for me and assembly wasn't too difficult. It sits on my covered patio. I have used it twice so far, I've made steak bites and veggies, and hamburgers on it, and both turned out great. I'm going to make breakfast on it next. I love being able to cook outside! I'm debating whether I should get a stainless splash guard to hang behind it as it sits close to a wall.

The Blackstone is fantastic. I wish I wouldn't have hesitated on the purchase for so long. Assembly takes a bit longer than the 30 minutes. It didn't come with batteries for the ignition button. Don't forget those, it won't start otherwise. But a long handled lighter also works if you don't have batteries. The seasoning is a little tedious but once your past all the above it's awesome. Cleanup is fairly simple. The biggest plus for me is keeping the cooking odors such as bacon or fish outside of the home. It's also much easier to clean the blackstone than the kitchen stove. The air fryer %26 warming drawer is an added bonus. So far the items I've cooked in the air fryer come out much better than the oven.

A solid unit that suits my needs.

Product was delivered within one day. Very fast. Assembling was hampered by several glitches in instructions. After reviewing other comments before I started the assembly I noted their concerns. 1st item said to loosen "all 8 screws on the griddle body assembly one turn." Couldn't loosen those screws even with a power screw driver. Those screws held the slots the assembled left and right legs slide into at the next stage. I determined those screws didn't need to be loosened after I saw what they secured. The legs slid into each of those slots easily without having to loosen those screws. After securing the legs to the body with the correct screws Step 5 said to place the griddle unit on its wheels and use (8 M5x15 screws to attach the four side shelf brackets to the sides of the body. THOSE SCREWS SHOULD BE LABELED (8 M**6**x15) SCREWS. Step 6 says to place the griddle top on the main body by aligning the 4 pins to the holes on the body. Make sure the pins are seated and push the griddle top back to lock it in place. The griddle top seated correctly but pushing it back doesn't fully lock the top in place. If using the handle on the griddle hood to help reposition the griddle on the floor I can pull the griddle top forward and then have to reseat the griddle top. NOTE: I haven't tried to take the heavy griddle top off to see if I can adjust the metal pegs that fit into their respective holes to make a tighter fit so that the griddle top doesn't slide forward. Finally, after full assembly I folded down the side shelves. The right one folded down completely, but the left one could not fold all the way down because the attached propane tank is in the way. I'm leaving the tank connected so I won't be able to fold down the left shelf all the way. If one needed the space you could remove the propane tank and then the left shelf would collapse like the right one does. This unit has an Air Fryer but there are no instructions on how to use it in conjunction with the griddle top. The instructions tells you how to turn it on and has the temperature settings in the instructions but aren't labeled on the control knob. The knob Has Low, Med and High. Guessing I will have to experiment with using the Air Fryer alone and/or with the griddle. Lastly, I assembled this unit by myself (83 years old). This unit's griddle top was 28" and not the bigger ones (36" or larger) so was not heavy enough that I couldn't wrangle. Another person would have made it easier but I didn't have anyone close by. Overall a solid unit that assembled pretty much as instructed except for the concerns I had.
